[ɔːˈtɒnəmi]
NOUN
the right or condition of self-government:
a self-governing country or region:
freedom from external control or influence; independence:
“the courts enjoy a considerable degree of autonomy” · “economic autonomy is still a long way off for many women”
SIMILAR:
self-government
independence
self-rule
home rule
(in Kantian moral philosophy) the capacity of an agent to act in accordance with objective morality rather than under the influence of desires.
Autonomy has two main functions: First, it gathers all the information in one place, so everyone’s on the same page and can verify what’s true. Then, it’s all about crowd-sourcing solutions to problems – the best ones, voted by you. This app? It’s here to make your community better at reporting and sorting out problems, and then figuring out the fixes together.
In this day and age, who really has time to visit their MP or to go door knocking looking for support dealing with life’s challenges and community issues?
Not enough to represent the true needs of the community.
This is why you should join us.
How Does It Work?
Got an issue in the neighbourhood? Open the app, sign in, snap a pic, and make a report. Your report shows up on the app, where others can add info, vote it up, down or dispute. Want to know what’s happening nearby? Open the app, set your search area and tags, then hit search. You’ll see user-uploaded articles, prioritized by votes. Change your search, and the list updates.
Solutions
Next step is to select an issue, go through to the articles main page, read, vote, add content if you have it, comment, reply or dispute.
Swipe left and see a list of possible solutions suggested and voted on by those in your community.
Autonomy works by drawing on an anonymous crowdsourced intelligence for a more informed, honest insight into community issues, whether that community is at home or at work, local or nationwide.
Why use think tanks sponsored by mystery donors when we have a nation of people who are living with those problems every day, who can see first-hand what the issues are and how to fix them.
So, there we have it, issues reported, prioritised and a list of the best solutions suggested by those in the know to help us move forward, supplying information to not only your representatives, but each other 24/7.
Autonomy works by connecting people that share similar experiences across industries, services and everyday life at home, to help these communities anonymously identify issues and to suggest the best way to navigate them.
So, it’s time to take control of your political influence. Download the model of the PoliNet app now and see how the future could look with your voice and your vote.

Your Security
To prioritize the safety and privacy of all registered users, everyone will be assigned a unique user ID number that will be displayed instead of a username. Everyone will remain anonymous, this is to encourage users to speak their minds, it provides a safe and centralised platform for those that wish to identify issues, it should also discourage discrimination, preconceived perceptions and cancel culture.
However, if any user is seen to be breaking the law, details of the incident and the users true ID will be submitted to the police.
Posting more than 3 fake items will earn the offending user a 28-day suspension, and 28 days for each fake item posted thereafter, the onus is on the user to fact check their evidence before posting it.

Autonomy uses a tag system to home in on the subjects that matter to you and combined with the ability to set a distance to conduct that search, provides a more focused route to a shared solution.
